Recommended Adult Dose: Take 25 drops three times daily with meals or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. For sleep aid, take one dose before bed time. Use for a minimum of one week to see beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond eighteen weeks.
Risk Information: Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking anti-cancer medications, blood thinners, antidepressant medications, anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular medications, immunosuppressants or contraceptive medications. Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have depression or related diseases, or are taking antianxiety medications, seizure medications, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants or opiates. Consult your healthcare practitioner if you experience sleep disturbances, if symptoms persist or worsen, or if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than three weeks. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV) or UV therapy. Some people may experience drowsiness, mild gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, restlessness or headache. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Hypersensitivity to St. John’s wort, passionflower and linden has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
