Recommended Adult Dose: Take six capsules daily, away from meals, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. Allow six to twelve hours for laxative effect to occur. Take a single dose at bedtime. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or health products. Take two to three times per week; if results are not observed, the frequency of use may be increased up to once per day. For occasional use only; do not use for more than seven days.
Risk Information: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family; if you have liver or gall bladder disorders and/or bowel obstruction; or if you have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhoea, do not use. If you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medication which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance, do not use. If you have high blood pressure, congestive heart failure or a kidney disorder; or if you are taking cardiac medication such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your healthcare practitioner. If you develop symptoms of liver trouble or hypersensitivity, discontinue use. If you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhoea, reduce dose or discontinue use.
